Arabic Media

Arabic Media serves an important role in modern Arabic: it sets a common standard of educated or 'correct' Arabic across the Arab world. As such, it is important to be familiar and comfortable with it.

This can take some time, as Media Arabic, in common with the media of any language, is delivered at a much faster pace than other form of Arabic. It simply requries patience, however - listen to it for long enough, and it will start to make sense!

Al Jazeerah

This YouTube channel hosts a short news reports aired on the Arabic version of al Jazeerah. You may find that initially you have to listen to each report a number of times before fully understanding it.
